Our Lady of the Assumption Sodality actively seeks new members to join our amazing group of women who work in service to Saint Thomas the Apostle Parish and our local community. We work, we play, we pray, and we have fun making new friends while keeping our faith foremost in all we do.

To sign up - the next Sodality Membership Drive will be held the weekend of September 16-17, 2023, after Saturday 5:00 pm mass and all Sunday morning masses. Our Sodalists (as we are called) will be greeting women parishioners at each of the church exits to say hello, and to provide you with an informational brochure, which explains in more detail what we do. You will be invited to sign up as a Prospective New Member, in which time a Membership Committee Sodalist will call you via telephone/cell phone to introduce themselves to you. At that time, you will be invited to our Sodality General Meetings, the 1st Tuesday of each month (October - April) for you to gather information as to the vast number of opportunities that may interest you.

Prospective New Member (PNM) Meeting informational classes begin in January 2023. PNM’s need to attend a minimum of five (5) informative meetings (four Saturdays of the months January - April) and/or general meetings. Our meetings, both General and PNM Meetings are informative, fun, and truly inspiring. You will learn about Sodality, our multiple committees, and so much more.

Prospective New Member (PNM) Meetings are held at Saint Thomas the Apostle the 2nd Saturday of January - April 2024. The March meeting is the 16th.  Meeting room and dates to be determined.

An Installation Mass, to welcome you as a Sodality Member will be held on Saturday, May 4, 2024. New members are consecrated to Our Blessed Virgin Mother and our incoming Executive Leadership Committee Officers receive their installation. A formal celebratory luncheon is provided to welcome our newly installed Sodalists and officers with active members in attendance. It is a day of celebration.
